I wear sneaks but I’m no sneak! Chinese New Year Shopping at PUMA (Marina Square)

Since I work most Mondays-Saturdays and had very little time to do my CNY shopping this year, I zipped over to Marina Square on my off day on Sunday after church.

I played a bit with some of PUMA’s latest styles and dolled up two of my friends, Jee-Lin and DJ Shawn Livewire!

DJ Livewire hails from Florida, USA and he’s spun along headliners like Seb Fontaine, the Scratch Perverts, Mickey Finn, Armand van Helden etc. From Ultra Music Festival in Miami to Spain, London, Amsterdam, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia (Jakarta, Bandung, Bali), and now Singapore hotspots like Avalon, Pangaea, Butter Factory and more, he’s got some pretty good energy going with his music. Is this music-master going to walk it out and hate my style?

We’ll see!

Here’s DJ Livewire scanning the selections of sneaks. He’s pretty picky, especially with his shoes, and he says that he actually ONLY wears Nike. It’s quite a feat and treat that I got to style up this partysmith in PUMA gear then?

He liked the high cut sneaks “Sky Hi+” in white though, and said he could see himself wearing it when he next hits the clubs. It was a sneaky steal at the sale price of $104 (UP: $129). His evil model twin in the poster was staring him down… probably wanted his new cool kicks!

On Jee, we kicked some extra style on with PUMA’s Benecio satin shoes ($79). Her whole outfit was a pretty punch-punk pink.
